Responsibilities
- Validate current hours per order or job performance and help establish new time standards.
- Observe build processes, perform time studies, and document production methods and time standards.
- Analyze value-added and non-value-added activities and recommend process improvements using lean methodologies.
- Support manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations while identifying safety and quality hazards for root-cause investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
- Exposure to or experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
- Experience performing work observations and time studies.
- 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of lean principles is preferred.
- Experience developing and deploying standard processes is preferred.
- Ability to perform duties on-site and meet physical demands including crouching, semi-mobile movement, walking, and climbing stairs throughout the day.
