Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are partnering with this company to present an Industrial Engineer opportunity focused on documenting time standards, validating current hours per order or job performance, and supporting the implementation of new scheduling software. Our team is looking for a professional who can help improve production stability, identify process improvements, and support safer, higher-quality operations across manufacturing and production-support functions.

Responsibilities

• Validate current hours per order or job performance and help establish new time standards.
• Observe build processes, perform time studies, and document production methods and time standards.
• Analyze value-added and non-value-added activities and recommend process improvements using lean methodologies.
• Support manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations while identifying safety and quality hazards for root-cause investigation.
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
• Exposure to or experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
• Experience performing work observations and time studies.
• 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of lean principles is preferred.
• Experience developing and deploying standard processes is preferred.
• Ability to perform duties on-site and meet physical demands including crouching, semi-mobile movement, walking, and climbing stairs throughout the day.
