A leading building automation and controls integrator is expanding its team in South Bend, Indiana to support a growing portfolio of data center and critical infrastructure projects.
This role focuses on controls upgrades, troubleshooting, and commissioning support across complex BMS and EPMS systems, working in high-performance environments where reliability and uptime are critical.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in diagnosing, improving, and delivering automation systems across data center environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex BMS and EPMS system issues
- Supporting controls upgrades and system improvements
- Working alongside project teams during commissioning and functional testing
- Developing and modifying control logic from sequences of operation
- Acting as a technical resource for field teams and project stakeholders
- Supporting startup, validation, and system optimisation activities
- Participating in service work, maintenance, and on-call support as needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for hands-on controls engineers who are comfortable working across automation systems, troubleshooting, and commissioning environments.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience with BMS, BAS, or EPMS systems
- Strong background in controls engineering, automation, or SCADA
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, or industrial control systems
- Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA platforms, or building automation systems
- Understanding of control logic and sequences of operation
- Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or field troubleshooting
Exposure to platforms such as Ignition, Niagara, Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider is beneficial.
