Compensation & Opportunity
- Salary: $50,000–$85,000 DOE
- Uncapped Commission: $100,000–$200,000 OTE

Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Insurance Account Manager / Sales Executive opportunity based in Melville, NY, with flexibility to work from home on select days.
This role focuses on helping clients navigate employee benefits, insurance, and risk management strategies while building long-term business relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor
- Provide tailored employee benefits, insurance, and risk management solutions
- Assist with insurance program placements, renewals, and carrier negotiations
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and other client-facing presentations and documentation
- Partner with underwriting, operations, and service teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions
- Maintain accurate client records and activity within CRM systems
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Experience in insurance sales, account management, employee benefits, risk management, financial services, or client-facing business development preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance practices and managing client portfolios
- Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and presentation tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Active Health & Life and/or Property & Casualty insurance license preferred
- Industry designations such as CEBS, CIC, CRM, CPCU, RHU, or CLU are a plus
- Experience with Employee Benefits, Group Health, Life Insurance, or Retirement Plan solutions
- Experience supporting Property & Casualty programs, Workers' Compensation, D&O, Professional Liability, or related coverages
- Familiarity with captive insurance programs and alternative risk funding strategies
- Experience working with small to midsize businesses and commercial clients
- Knowledge of insurance markets, carrier relationships, and renewal processes
