Mid-Level Corporate/M&A Attorney – Opportunity with a Growing Law Firm
A reputable and fast‑growing law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate/M&A Attorney to join its dynamic and collaborative Corporate/M&A practice group. This role offers substantive responsibility, client interaction, and the ability to work on sophisticated transactions in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise a wide range of transactional documents, including stock and asset purchase agreements, ancillary acquisition agreements, employment agreements, NDAs, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and corporate governance materials.
- Coordinate closely with internal team members, clients, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth execution of transactions and adherence to timelines.
- Support complex M&A matters from initial structuring through closing.
Candidate Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience handling mergers & acquisitions transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with comfort interacting directly with clients and opposing counsel.
- High level of professionalism, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Billable Requirement: 1,800 hours per year
- Compensation Range: $240,000 – $290,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
- Business Development Budget: $2,500 annually
