Location: New York (hybrid 3 days in Midtown)
Salary: $140,000 - $200,000
Overview
A top global law firm is seeking a Client Development Manager to support the growth of its most strategic client relationships. This role partners closely with senior leadership and client teams to drive revenue, strengthen engagement, and expand cross-practice opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key client accounts, supporting growth and relationship strategy
- Partner with senior attorneys to develop and execute client development plans
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and facilitate collaboration across practices
- Analyze client intelligence, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Maintain client dashboards and track relationship health and growth metrics
- Prepare client reports, presentations, and financial performance summaries
- Coordinate client initiatives with Business Development, Marketing, Pricing, and other internal teams
- Support client feedback efforts, including reviews and post-matter evaluations
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in business or client development within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working with senior leadership in a partnership environment
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive strategy
- Familiarity with CRM systems and client development tools
