Position Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced Senior Biller to manage complex billing processes for its Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in legal billing, particularly within IP matters, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review client invoices in compliance with firm and client guidelines.
- Manage the full billing cycle, including adjustments, write-offs, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Handle electronic billing (eBilling) and resolve any related issues.
- Monitor and maintain billing schedules and deadlines.
- Assist with reporting and analysis of billing data as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of legal billing experience, with a focus on Intellectual Property matters.
- Proficiency with billing software (e.g., Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar).
- Strong understanding of eBilling platforms and client billing guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.
