Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Houston office. The ideal candidate will have experience managing business disputes, contract litigation, and other commercial matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases with direct client interaction and courtroom exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Stay current on relevant laws, procedures, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas bar license in good standing.
• 2–6 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or in a team.
