Our Client:
Our client is a fast growing site network that currently has over 30 sites and constantly expanding! This sites conducts Oncology studies spanning Phases I-IV and they've been awarded for excellence in recruitment and recognized in the industry for retention, a best-in-class experience for patients and sponsors!
The Role:
- Receive, inspect, inventory, and store lab kits and study supplies for each research protocol.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder requests
- Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, chain of custody) are maintained and documented for all study lab materials
- Ship lab samples and kits according to applicable shipping regulations and as directed by the study team (e.g., dry ice, biohazard, and hazardous materials handling).
- Receive, track, and maintain sponsor-provided equipment including electronic devices, centrifuges, specimen processing tools, and other oncology study assets.
- Serve as primary contact for biotechnology sponsor-provided equipment, including the return of sponsor equipment at close-out.
- Maintain an accurate equipment log, including maintenance records, usage history, and any malfunctions or damage reports.
- Manage all daily incoming and outgoing packages, including deliveries from couriers, sponsors, labs, and vendors and log all package receipts
- Coordinate outbound shipments including preparing manifests, scheduling pickups, and ensuring compliance with sponsor and regulatory shipping requirements.
- Maintain organized, clean, and audit-ready storage areas for all study and operational supplies.
- Collaborate with study coordinators, the laboratory team, nurses, and site leadership to anticipate and respond to supply needs across active oncology studies.
- Assist with onboarding logistics for new studies, including storage allocation and equipment placement.
Qualifications:
- College Degree Preferred
- 2 years of experience working in a medical lab or research lab
- Proven experience in lab logistics and a high attention to detail
- Ability to work on site in Century City area of LA
