Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm based in Raleigh, NC, has been engaged by a privately held real estate advisory and development firm with offices in multiple regions including Raleigh to conduct a search for a Project Manager.
The Project Manager will be based out of the firm’s Raleigh office and will serve as an Owner’s Representative, overseeing the design and construction of a variety of project types including light manufacturing, lab/office, and multi-family residential. This person will lead multi-disciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle, managing budget, schedule, risk, quality, and regulatory compliance while serving as the primary liaison with client executive leadership. The right candidate will bring both the technical depth to manage complex projects and the interpersonal qualities to thrive in the company’s collaborative, values-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as Owner’s Representative, overseeing the design and construction of diverse project types including light manufacturing, lab/office, and multi-family residential.
- Lead and manage projects across multiple phases, including entitlements, design, and construction, ranging in complexity and scale from $10 million up to $500 million.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, implementing strategic and tactical initiatives to mitigate risk and proactively address variances.
- Direct consultants from design through construction to move-in, including architects, engineers, furniture vendors, major equipment suppliers, and IT teams.
- Communicate and collaborate with client executive leadership and designated client staff on key decision-making throughout entitlements, design, and construction.
- Coordinate closely with field teams and subcontractors to ensure execution aligns with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements across all project phases.
- Mentor team members and staff to foster a highly collaborative, high-performing team environment consistent with the firm’s culture.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a project management role, ideally within commercial construction, architecture, real estate advisory, development, or owner’s representation.
- Bachelor’s degree in building construction, engineering, architecture, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage competing demands across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical and project management skills, including budget development, schedule management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing all project types through full lifecycle from design through construction to move-in.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with client executive leadership and cross-functional project teams.
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy while knowing when to seek input and escalate appropriately.

Salary : $135,000 - $150,000
