Housekeeping Attendant

SpringHill Suites Gainesville Haymarket is seeking a full or part-time experienced Housekeeping Attendant with a friendly, professional, and helpful personality to join our housekeeping team. This position requires availability to work any day time shift including holidays and weekends. Shifts vary by day and week dependent upon the needs of the business.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks in the hotel including cleaning guest rooms and public spaces.
• Clean rooms and hotel public spaces according to brand and health standards ensuring guest readiness.

• Replace soiled linen and towels, disinfect surfaces, dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Empty wastebaskets.
• Replenish rooms supplies, toilet paper, trash liners, etc.
• Transport trash, waste, and dirty linens to laundry and disposal areas.
• Inspect room for damages, maintenance items not in working order, lost guest items, and report all issues to supervisor.
• Maintain an orderly, stocked, and clean cart.
• Maintain orderly, stocked, and clean storage areas.
• Observe all safety, security, and health standards to protect hotel, fellow team members, and guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, lift, and move about continuously.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch frequently,
• Ability to perform repetitive movement of hands, arms, legs.

• Perform any additional tasks deemed necessary by leadership team.
• Display professional work ethic by being punctual, reliable, and responsible.
• Please note that this position includes exposure to hazardous chemicals (cleaning materials), odors, dirt and dust.'
