As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for residents, visitors, and fellow team members. This position is essential to ensuring our community feels like home.
Housekeeping Attendant Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning of resident apartments and common areas
- Change and launder linens (where applicable)
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, furniture, windows, and flooring
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
- Complete deep cleaning tasks such as refrigerator defrosting, mattress turning, and window washing on a scheduled basis
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies
- Report maintenance needs promptly
- Uphold infection control and safety procedures
- Provide warm, professional customer service to residents and guests
- Support new team members and attend required trainings
- Perform additional housekeeping or light maintenance duties as needed
- A friendly, reliable team player
- Someone with strong attention to detail and pride in their work
- A desire to serve seniors with compassion and respect
- Dependability and positive attitude
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and community policies
