Responsible for maintaining a high level of sanitation in both the interior and exterior of the Plant in accordance with established schedules and guidelines with the primary objective being the timely and complete sanitization of all production equipment.

1. Is aware of and complies with all GMP and OSHA requirements to perform the essential functions of the job safely.
2. Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in both the interior and exterior of the Plant.
3. Disassembles, scrubs, and washes equipment on a routine basis in accordance with the sanitation schedule.
4. Ensures that only approved chemicals are used for cleaning purposes.
5. Responsible for reporting any mechanical, safety or any other problems to the Lead immediately.
6. Adheres to common safety practices and procedures, including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.
7. Adheres to plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
8. Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to:  GMP’s, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
