We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Physician Assistant to join a growing orthopedic and/or spine practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced physicians in both clinical and surgical settings, providing comprehensive care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with orthopedic and spine-related conditions
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care
- Perform in-office procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and lab work
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, rehabilitation, and preventative care
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapy, pain management, and other specialties
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active or eligible for state licensure
- NCCPA certification required
- Prior experience in orthopedics, spine, or related field preferred (new graduates with strong interest may be considered)
- Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Salary : $145,000 - $165,000
