SpineSearch is working with a busy and well-established neurosurgical practice in Macon, Georgia is seeking a motivated and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team immediately. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a fast-paced clinical environment where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and thrives in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a floater supporting both clinical and administrative functions
- Assist with patient triage, intake, and clinical documentation
- Conduct patient call backs and respond to clinical inquiries
- Enter and manage physician orders in the EMR
- Call in and manage prescriptions as directed by providers
- Travel to outside clinic locations as needed to support operations
- Ensure efficient patient flow and maintain high standards of patient care
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (neurosurgery or specialty practice experience preferred)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff
- Dependable, flexible, and ready to start immediately
Salary : $17 - $20
