We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Resources Consulting Intern to join our Texas-based team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to real-world projects. The intern will collaborate with experienced scientists and engineers on projects related to hydrogeologic field data collection, well design and construction oversight, conceptual and numerical model development, and technical reporting.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Resources Consulting Intern to join our Texas-based team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to real-world projects. The intern will collaborate with experienced scientists and engineers on projects related to hydrogeologic field data collection, well design and construction oversight, conceptual and numerical model development, and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Data Collection: Collect groundwater, surface water, and soil samples; deploy and maintain monitoring instrumentation.
- Well Oversight: Support well drilling and construction activities; prepare borehole logs and well diagrams; prepare permitting documentation.
- Data Management: Organize, evaluate, and analyze hydrogeologic data from fieldwork and public datasets.
- Technical Analysis: Assist in the development of hydrogeologic models and use of groundwater availability models for water supply analysis.
- Reporting: Contribute to technical reports and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with subcontractors, drilling crews, laboratories, and clients to ensure project success.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Education & Experience: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's/master’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental/earth science, civil/environmental engineering, or a related field. Previous experience conducting field science or research preferred but not required.
- Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint (required); GIS software, AutoCAD and/or experience with programming (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of scientific/engineering principles, mathematics, and technical concepts related to hydrology and geology. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Skills: Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Positive attitude, ability to receive constructive feedback and support, and collaborative mindset. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Salary : $20 - $25
