Position Summary
Through this position the successful applicant will join a growing team of hydrogeologists and engineers working to develop water supplies within our region (TX, AR, OK, LA, MS), including both surface water supplies and groundwater supplies. The Program Manager position will require developing and leading a team of professionals to complete field and office-based analyses and projects, including well siting, construction oversight, and water resources reporting/accounting and permitting. Familiarity with local and regional water development permitting processes is preferred. Applicant will be required to oversee work of staff, and to develop the skills and experience of the Spheros South-Central region. Applicant will report to the Regional Director.
Essential Functions
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with prolonged periods of computer use. Occasional travel or field visits may be required.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel (up to 25%) for client meetings or site visits.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 Depending upon Experience, with sales incentives

Essential Functions
- Manages complex, high-risk projects from planning through delivery, ensuring they stay on scope, schedule, and budget with minimal supervision.
- Oversees technical solutions, quality control, code compliance, and innovation; collaborates with team and clients to deliver high-value results.
- Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, mentors staff, fosters a learning environment, and promotes operational efficiency.
- Serves as primary liaison with clients and authorities, actively manages communication and expectations, and builds long-term relationships.
- Responsible for project profitability, labor budgets, forecasts, and reviewing client invoices to control financial outcomes.
- Identifies and pursues new opportunities, develops proposals, supports strategic planning, and enhances firm visibility in the industry.
- Engages in professional networks, represents the company at public and industry events, and cultivates relationships to drive growth.
- Listens actively, asks insightful questions, and provides thoughtful recommendations to support client goals and strengthen trust.
- Evaluates scope changes, reviews additional service pricing, and ensures risk is assessed and mitigated appropriately.
- Implements firmwide improvements in quality, efficiency, and service delivery; encourages innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Trains new hires, mentors staff, and shares knowledge through formal programs and informal day-to-day guidance.
- Balances confidence with humility, leads with a people-first mindset, and demonstrates professionalism in challenging conversations.
- Bachelor's degree, Master's Degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 25 years, including 5 years of PM Experience.
- Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, or other relevant Certification Preferred.
- Experience with scientific software, Microsoft Suite, Google Earth, Company Software (ERP, CRM, HRM etc.), GIS and programming where applicable.
