This role will support day-to-day HR operations, ensure data accuracy across HR systems, and provide administrative support to the HR team. Spheros Environmental is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful HR Generalist with strong skills in HR administration and HRIS management. This role will support day-to-day HR operations, ensure data accuracy across HR systems, and provide administrative support to the HR team. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employee inquiries on HR inbox, connecting employees with the correct team member as necessary.
- Administer and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring accurate employee data, reporting, and compliance.
- Support HR Director in HRIS troubleshooting, user support, and process optimization.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
- Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and employee record updates.
- Maintain personnel files, ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements, and manage document retention.
- Provide administrative support for benefits and performance management processes.
- Assist with compliance audits, reporting, and adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Partner with HR leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of HR experience, with a strong background in HR administration and HRIS management.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, UKG, BambooHR, or similar).
- Strong skills in MS Excel and HR reporting/analytics.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
