Key Responsibilities
Customer Management
- Conduct regular visits to customers, taking front-line responsibility for reporting on customer changes and identifying new opportunities.
- Develop robust relationships across all customer functions, identifying decision-makers and key personnel.
- Drive internal alignment on key customer activities and execute flawlessly to delivery plans.
- Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) from customers.
- Coordinate customer projects linked to our products and services.
- Manage and accurately interpret customer requirements.
- Ensure full adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
New Business Development
- Manage Gate processes and launch internal cost reviews.
- Manage customer milestones, including the development and maintenance of Gantt charts.
- Produce regular project SWOT reports to guide strategic decisions.
- Develop comprehensive responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Produce detailed estimates in line with the company cost model.
- Create and deliver technical presentations demonstrating how our solutions meet customer needs.
NPI and Sustained Engineering
- Oversee internal engineering activities, including the nesting of new opportunities and demand.
- Manage internal Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
- Manage internal engineering ECRs.
- Review existing manufacturing processes and proactively propose improvements.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and other customer engineering activities.
- Create 2D designs for delivery media, storage solutions, and shop floor layouts.
- Perform 2D NC programming for structural and process kits.

- Project Management: Solid understanding of project management principles, including plan building, budget management, and workload prioritization within agreed timescales.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in computer skills to prepare, analyze, and develop reports and spreadsheets.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel domestically (US), to the UK, and internationally as needed.
