Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, schedule, and train warehouse staff to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory management systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with shipments, inventory discrepancies, and customer orders.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, production, transportation) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, enforcing 5S or lean principles when applicable.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.
- 35 years of warehouse experience, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teambuilding skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or ERP systems.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate work in a fastpaced environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Ability to lift up to 5075 lbs regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
- Must wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
- Experience with lean warehousing, 5S, or Six Sigma principles.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in diverse team environments.
- First Aid/CPR or OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
