What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Driver position at Sphere Renewables?
Overall goal: Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of different types of goods from warehouse to warehouse and warehouse to the customer location and visa-versa.

- Safely and efficiently transport goods.
- To execute the company policy
- To ensure full compliance with legal OSHA and ISO requirements
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.
- Pickup and safely transport goods to the intended destination.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, strapping, etc.
- Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent damage/injury.
- Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.
- Communicate with the office and/or warehouse as needed.
- Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document.
- Perform inspections of your vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift and report any problems or damage to management.
- Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.
- Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
- Adhere to company safety rules, regulations guidelines, policies, and sitespecific safety plans; comply with DOT regulations.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]
- Participate in company sponsored safety training
- Follow safe work practices
- Report unsafe/hazardous conditions
- Comply with the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality [HSEQ] Policy, E002
- Work on continuous improvement of all facets under your responsibility and document results

- Current CDL A license
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules & regulations
- Adaptability & foresight to handle unexpected situations [traffic, weather conditions, etc.]
- Forklift experience.
- Willing to submit to drug checks.
- Must complete a successful background screen.
- Willing & able to work in a teambased environment.
