Our client is a leading provider of turnkey project execution services in the energy sector, specializing in Transmission & Distribution, substations, battery storage, and solar projects. The Cost Analyst will support large-scale utility projects, focusing on financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in T&D and substation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project costs and data to support financial decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and accruals.
- Track project budgets and expenditures from inception to completion.
- Design and implement tools to improve cost tracking and reporting processes.
- Assist with policy development, system implementations, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with financial controls.
Qualifications / Experience:
- 4 years of experience with utility projects, particularly Transmission & Distribution or substations.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools, such as Primavera P6, to support cost and resource management.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in cost tracking and data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid settings.
