Join Spencer Ogden’s final Entry-Level Academy of 2026 and launch your recruitment career with our Denver team. You’ll work within renewable energy, helping companies find the people they need to deliver projects across the U.S.

No recruitment experience required. Bring confidence, curiosity and a willingness to learn, we’ll help you build the skills.

✈️ We’ll fly you to Houston for a week of in-person training with your Academy group! Learn alongside fellow new starters, build connections across our offices and develop your skills as part of our six-week paid training program.

💼 What Is Recruitment?

Put simply, you’ll help companies hire great people and help people find their next career opportunity.

Imagine a company developing a solar project that needs specialist engineers or project leaders. You’ll build a relationship with that company, understand who they need, find suitable candidates and guide both sides through interviews, negotiations and the final offer.

When your candidate is hired, Spencer Ogden earns a placement fee, and you can earn commission on that business.

This is a 360-recruitment role, meaning you’ll manage both sides of the process: winning business with clients and finding candidates to fill their vacancies.

Your focus will be permanent recruitment, helping professionals secure long-term positions with our clients.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

• Reaching out to prospective clients and winning new business
• Building relationships with companies across renewable energy
• Finding candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and our database
• Speaking with professionals about their experience and career goals
• Matching candidates with opportunities and preparing them for interviews
• Managing offers, negotiations and the hiring process
• Closing placements and working toward revenue targets
• Developing your own specialist market and network

It’s a people-focused sales career that takes persistence, organization and confidence on the phone. You’ll hear “no,” handle setbacks and learn how to turn conversations into opportunities.

🎓 Training & Support from Day One

Our six-week paid Academy, delivered by our global Learning & Development team, will help you learn how to:

• Find and approach clients and candidates
• Run effective calls and meetings
• Negotiate and manage the recruitment process
• Build and manage your own recruitment desk

You’ll receive hands-on training and ongoing support as you put those skills into practice with your Denver team.

You must be available for the full Academy and able to travel to Houston for one week of training.
