- Lead site-level safety strategy, driving improvements in culture and performance
- Manage and enhance key programs such as OSHA compliance, LOTO, hazard identification, ergonomics, and emergency preparedness
- Conduct audits, deliver training, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Drive proactive safety initiatives — concern reporting, near-miss tracking, and corrective action follow-ups
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure timely corrective actions
- Develop and maintain a risk “heat map” to identify high-risk areas and drive focused improvements
- Serve as the on-site EHS leader — actively engaging with all levels of staff on the production floor

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5–7 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or repair facility
- Proven ability to step into active operations and provide immediate safety leadership
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and other safety management systems

- Ability and willingness to lift, move, or support handling of heavy machinery parts as needed for safety inspections, incident reviews, and operational support
- Capable of being on your feet for extended periods and navigating shop floor conditions
