We’re a fast-growing Series B technology startup backed by leading investors. As we scale rapidly, we’re building out our finance function and looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lay the foundation for best-in-class financial operations at a high-growth company.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reports, and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting to internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, HR, product) to track expenses, budgets, and forecasts
- Help establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as the company scales
- Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment (public accounting experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Self-starter who is eager to take ownership and grow with the company
