RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform credit analyses and prepare loan applications for existing and prospective Project Finance/ Structured Credit customers of the bank
- Independent and pro-active monitoring of credit quality of assigned Project Finance portfolio as well as ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
SPECIFIC TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare credit analyses and loan reviews for Project/ Structured Finance customers, both bilateral
and syndicated (with special focus on Renewable Energy Finance). Analyses encompass the
historical and projected financial and operational performance of the borrower, and any property,
portfolio, structural, or legal issues related to a specific transaction including rating.
Prepare credit reports for new loan facilities and process renewals and amendments for existing
facilities in the assigned portfolio (incl. review of financial model, technical and other consultants’
reports and preparation of rating)
Monitor operating and financial performance of borrowers on an ongoing basis and prepare
monitoring reports in regular intervals. Ensure observance and timely fulfillment of financial and
operational reporting requirements.
Maintain all accounts, records, files and reporting in compliance with regulatory guidelines and
the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Close cooperation with Marketing counterparts in structuring and due diligence of transactions in
order to mitigate potential risks and to ensure compliance with the Bank’s risk and lending
guidelines.
Communicate effectively with Marketing officers, Management and Head Office and other
branches of the Bank.
Follow major trends in the assigned Projects’ industries and provide support to Head Office in the
preparation of the annual industry reports or relevant Project Finance portfolio reports.
Contribute to product development and any required special reports or projects.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS (e.g. education, university, vocational training, job experience,
languages, personal characteristics/strong points etc.)
Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, and/or MBA/CFA.
Formal bank credit training program or commensurate experience.
At least three years of experience in project/ structured finance analysis at a bank ideally with a
specific industry focus in renewable/ conventional energy financing.
Job Description
Well versed in current business software tools and the ability to access and to research financial
databases and internal management information systems. Experience in financial modeling
especially cash flow projections.
Good analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a small team.
Additional language skills (especially in German or Spanish) are welcome.
