Accounting Coordinator | Temporary | Part-Time
Location: Carleton, MI
Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (On-site)
Duration: Approximately 12–16 weeks (Start date targeted for 12/22/25 for training)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support the Accounting Department of our partner. This is a part-time, temporary role ideal for someone with strong payroll and reporting experience who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.
About the Role: The Accounting Coordinator will manage payroll processing and provide critical reporting support for internal teams and external staffing partners. This position plays a key role in ensuring employee compensation is accurate and that partner agencies receive the information needed to invoice properly.
What You’ll Do:
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 160 employees with accuracy and adherence to internal and regulatory requirements.
- Generate and distribute detailed payroll-related reports for multiple staffing partners.
- Maintain organized, compliant payroll records and collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity.
- Support smooth operational flow during the Accounting Coordinator’s leave by assisting with additional administrative tasks as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- Prior payroll processing experience required; experience with high-volume payroll strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information.
- Proficiency with common payroll or accounting software.
