Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Location: Livingston County, MI
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial construction projects throughout Livingston County, Michigan. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a company that places a strong emphasis on culture, leadership, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all daily on-site activities for ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project momentum.
- Enforce all safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively resolve field challenges.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and site documentation.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines from start through project closeout.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing ground-up commercial construction projects (required).
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage complex commercial job sites.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and safety standards.
- Experience with design-build projects is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $89,954.05 - $108,331.77 per year
