Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Custom Builder to oversee the full construction lifecycle of our homes—from groundbreaking to final orientation. In this role, you’ll ensure each home is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do
Construction Management
- Manage home construction through all phases across multiple job sites
- Ensure homes meet company standards, building codes, and customer expectations
- Coordinate inspections and maintain strong relationships with local inspectors
- Visit homes daily to identify issues and dispatch subcontractors
Trade & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Maintain accountability for workmanship, timelines, and scopes of work
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and customer‑ready
Budget & Cost Control
- Manage project budgets and monitor cost performance
- Reduce overages and prevent repetitive construction errors
- Support financial accuracy through consistent documentation
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
- Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulatory requirements
Customer Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homebuyers during construction
- Conduct walk‑throughs and address questions throughout the build
- Lead new‑home orientations and ensure homes meet quality expectations at move‑in
Warranty & Post‑Close Support
- Manage warranty requests and determine corrective actions
- Schedule trades, oversee repairs, and maintain quality assurance after closing

Experience & Education
- 5–7 years of residential construction experience required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
