W2 Oracle DBA

Introduction:

This position is for an Oracle DBA within the Banking Domain. The role will be based in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid work model of 3 days onsite per week. The initial duration of the position is 12 months with potential extension up to 2 years. W2 candidates are preferred, however, OPT candidates will be considered, and relocation candidates are welcome. Candidates must provide their LinkedIn profile and 2 professional references.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support mission-critical Oracle databases and replication platforms.
• Perform database and SQL performance tuning, troubleshooting, and RCA.
• Support RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, GoldenGate, backup/recovery, and DR environments.
• Monitor database health, resolve production issues, and support on-call rotations.
• Develop automation using Shell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Support security, auditing, compliance, and database hardening initiatives.

Requirements:

Required Skills: Oracle DBA, GoldenGate, SQL Performance Tuning, Exadata/RAC/Data Guard experience.

Preferred Skills: Database, SQL Tuning, Artificial Intelligence, Oracle Data Guard, RAC, Recovery, Oracle ASM, Ansible.
