What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Project Manager (Foundry) position at Spear Staffing?
This contract role coordinates cross-functional teams, maintains integrated visibility of actions and dependencies, supports leadership reporting, and drives issues and blockers toward resolution. The Project Manager will facilitate execution and readiness activities but will not serve as the technical owner of systems or equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project governance, actions, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and escalations.
- Coordinate Automation, IT, Infrastructure, Network, Cybersecurity, Equipment, Vendors, and Engineering teams.
- Drive system onboarding, infrastructure/network readiness, equipment readiness, and deployment activities.
- Lead recurring statgovernance meetings and drive action items to closure.
- Prepare weekly status reports, dashboards, milestone tracking, and leadership summaries.
- Support automation/computerized system deployment, workshops, readiness reviews, and on-site activities.
- Track BOM, deployment dependencies, virtual equipment, and operational readiness.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of Technical Project Management experience.
- Strong experience with cross-functional technical teams and project governance.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and escalation skills.
