Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Prepare and review daily financial reports, including revenue summaries, occupancy reports, and cash handling documentation.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests via multi-line phone systems, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals and early departures, maintaining smooth front desk operations during overnight shifts.
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Assist with reservations management using hospitality reservation systems, updating booking details, and managing room allocations.
- Communicate effectively with day staff to ensure continuity of service and relay important information about guest needs or incidents.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and client communication.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and security protocols.
- Exceptional phone etiquette skills and experience managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Previous resort experience is a plus, along with proficiency in handling guest services issues efficiently.
