Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant will process linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe manner, and the brand’s standards to achieve and maintain guest satisfaction, while embracing the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.
Responsibilities:
Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning linen and terry daily according to operational policies and standards.- Sort out stained linen for soaking and re-washing.
- Set damaged linen aside to be discarded.
- Operate washers and dryers according to load limits and type of linen being laundered.
- Fold, stack, hang and store all laundered linen and terry.
- Transport clean linen to linen closets and retrieve dirty linen from floors is necessary.
- Assist with monthly inventory.
- Check laundry chemical supplies.
Requirements:
Working in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations.- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- Requires strong attention to detail.
- Must have open availability work weekends and holidays.
Physical:
Move, transport, put, install, remove, replace, position, place, and transfer.- Move about or to, position self.
- Operate, adjust attach, position, set up, handle, tend to activate, apply, measure, use, modify, input, compile, retrieve, make, create, collect, inspect, prepare, service.
- Stand for extended periods of time.

- Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in motion for the full day.
- Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
