Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of textiles.
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting of laundry carts and textiles, following manual handling safety procedures.
• Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements to maintain order and efficiency.
• Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while adhering to safety standards in production environments.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including push carts, laundry stations, and surrounding spaces to promote sanitation and safety.
• Follow safety protocols during all procedures, including proper garment care machine operation and textile handling techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely processing of laundry services and addressing any special requests or concerns.

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning processes, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks involving materials handling.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in production environments.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting items, and managing inventory.
• Strong attention to detail for garment care, sorting accuracy, and quality control.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment such as industrial dryers and garment care machines confidently.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols diligently and work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
