SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Technician to join our team. This position involves managing yard operations, including moving equipment, cleaning the yard, assisting with receiving and shipping, and preparing units for transport. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely move and relocate equipment around the yard as needed using forklifts, trucks, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing regular yard cleaning duties.
• Assist with receiving shipments, inspecting goods, and ensuring the proper documentation is completed.
• Prepare units and equipment for shipping, including loading, securing, and verifying that all items are properly packaged.
• Assist in unloading and staging incoming deliveries, ensuring they are placed in the correct location in the yard.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient yard operations and effective use of space.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on equipment and yard tools.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures to minimize accidents and risks.

• A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
• Computer literate with the ability to process information, learn systems, and develop skills in the use of IT hardware
• Ability to communicate, prioritize and maintain time management.
• Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Physically able to perform duties and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain a great attitude toward work.
• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and practices as required.
• Work in a wide range of environmental & ground conditions, including extreme heat and extreme cold
• Acceptable driving record.
• A history of safe work habits.
• Driven, self-motivated, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid Driver’s License/Acceptable Driving Record.

Wage Range:

Wage Range D.O.E.  $17.00  to $21.00
