WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The HRIS Specialist will support the ongoing maintenance, accuracy, and functionality of HR systems. This position is responsible for data entry and validation, report generation, system troubleshooting, and user support. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently on routine tasks, and collaboration with the HRIS Manager and broader HR team on system updates, audits, and process improvements. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
* Support daily operations of HR systems (e.g., ADP, recruitment tools, onboarding platforms).
* Enter and maintain employee data with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality
* Run standard HR reports and assist with compiling data for audits and compliance purposes.
* Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot basic HRIS issues; escalate complex problems as needed.
* Perform regular audits of employee data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Assist with system testing during upgrades and new feature rollouts.
* Help maintain system documentation, including user guides and SOPs.
* Support system training sessions and provide 1:1 assistance to HR users.
* Coordinate user access requests and maintain role-based security settings under supervision.
* Collaborate with the HRIS Manager and other team members on data integrity projects and small system enhancements.
* Contribute to team/company engagement efforts.
* Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor.

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:
* HRIS Platforms: ADP (Workforce Now), UKG, Oracle HCM, or similar systems
* Microsoft Excel: basic to intermediate functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables)
* Reporting and analytics tools preferred (e.g., Power BI, Tableau -- basic familiarity)
* Experience with document management systems or workflow tools is a plus
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
* 1--2 years of experience working with HRIS platforms in a support or coordination capacity
* Familiarity with HR processes and employee data management
* Prior experience maintaining employee records and generating standard HR reports
* Exposure to system testing and documentation is a plus
* Project management experience preferred
