What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Technician position at Southern Management Companies, LLC.?
We're seeking a Custodian with whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will ensure that the physical asset is maintained in good condition and that everything is clean and sanitary. In addition, the Custodian Technician is responsible for keeping an inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting requests when supplies get low.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Maintain cleanliness of all community common areas in accordance with internal quality control standards
- Ensure sidewalks, alleyways, and parking areas are clean and free of trash and debris
- Perform daily audits of common areas and report findings to management
- Clean and/or touch-up vacant apartments
- Assist with apartment turnover process, as needed
- Maintain positive relationships with all team members and customers
- Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate in written form
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Knowledge of chemicals/cleaners used in the cleaning profession and awareness of dangerous chemical interactions
- Knowledge of use and care of tools and equipment necessary to perform buildings custodial tasks
- Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
