📍 Position Details

Location: Montgomery County Jail – TN
Schedule: Approximately 2 – 8-hour shifts per week | Flexible
Position: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

🩺 What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and treat patients during scheduled on-site visits
• Provide clinical direction and support to the nursing team
• Review medical records, treatment plans, orders, and documentation
• Prescribe medications and coordinate outside care when needed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
• Practice according to established clinical protocols and standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards of care

✅ What You’ll Bring

• Current NP or PA license in Tennessee
• Nurse Practitioners must maintain a collaborating physician relationship when required by Tennessee regulations
• Primary care, urgent care, or correctional healthcare experience is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain facility security clearance
