Southern Health Partners is looking for a compassionate LPN to join our healthcare team at the Chambers County Jail in Alabama.

This isn't your typical nursing schedule. You'll work every other weekend, Saturday through Monday, giving you a predictable rotation and plenty of time away from work in between.

✨ Three shifts. Every other weekend. Then you're off.

Nursing With Purpose

Correctional nursing gives you the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population while developing your clinical skills in an environment that's structured, team-oriented, and anything but ordinary.

Your day may include:

• Providing direct patient care and completing nursing assessments
• Administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring patient conditions and identifying changes in health status
• Responding to urgent and emergent healthcare needs
• Communicating patient needs with the healthcare team
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Providing patient education and promoting continuity of care
• Collaborating with medical and correctional staff to support patient safety

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Alabama LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
• Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required
• A compassionate, professional approach to patient care
