- Set up banquet bar stations according to event specifications and Southall standards, including proper stocking of all beverages, mixers, garnishes, and bar tools.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, take beverage orders, and prepare cocktails in accordance with standard recipes and portion control practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event; follow “clean as you go” and teamwork policies.
- Accurately follow all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring that all beverage requirements are met.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly secured and accounted for after each shift, including cash handling and bar breakdown procedures.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Captain and other team members to ensure seamless execution of events and respond promptly to guest needs or special requests.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Polish glassware, prepare garnishes, and execute beverage service to Southall’s luxury standards.
- Communicate any guest feedback, challenges, or inventory needs efficiently and professionally.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be T.I.P.S. certified or TABC Certification (or complete upon hire)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
