Responsibilities include:
- Configuration and support of corporate network (LAN and WAN) including servers, workstations, cabling, routers, hubs, switches, firewalls, VPN, IP Topology, Active Directory, DNS, VLANS and storage (EMC)
- Administration of the network, servers, users and peripherals such as printers and video conference devices (Tandberg)
- Creation and Modification of Active Directory Group Policies
- Support and maintenance of the telecommunications system
- The successful applicant will possess the following requirements:
Qualifications:
- A Computer Science or other Technical Degree is preferred
- Experience with Firewalls such as Cisco. CCNA Certification is strongly desirable
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and WiFi networking devices
- Experience with Blackberries and i-Phones / i-Pads
- TCP/IP protocol and troubleshooting knowledge
- VMware VSphere Server virtualization
- Microsoft Exchange 2003 / 2007 / 2010
- Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012
- Citix XenApp / XenServer
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong in-depth knowledge of virtualization, VMware etc. in a multi-site environment
