Sr Pricing Analyst

A global aerospace organisation is seeking a Sr Pricing Analyst to support aftermarket pricing activities across products, services and customers. This role will provide financial and pricing analysis, develop proposal recommendations, support negotiations and ensure pricing activities comply with applicable government contracting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial analysis and pricing recommendations for products, services and customers across multiple business areas.
- Prepare pricing strategies and recommendations for review by business teams, marketing, product management and senior leadership.
- Develop compliant proposals for U.S. Government agencies, prime contractors and commercial customers.
- Prepare FAR 15, FAR 12 and TINA-compliant proposals.
- Support DCAA, DCMA and prime contractor audits and fact-finding requests.
- Contribute to business cases, competitive assessments, risk mitigation plans and negotiation strategies.
- Provide pricing and negotiation support to customer business teams.
- Develop and implement value-based pricing principles.
- Participate in opportunity reviews and coordinate pricing activities across teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather the information required for pricing proposals.
- Drive pricing excellence through improved methodologies, productivity, margin expansion, tools and training.
- Build effective working relationships across business, marketing, product management and other supporting functions.
Requirements
- 5 years of directly related experience in pricing, finance, accounting or business analysis, or 2.5 years of direct government/defense experience.
- Must be a U.S. person due to U.S. export control requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business software.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Experience with pricing, cost accounting or marketing preferred.
- Government/defense industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and government purchasing requirements is advantageous.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Experience using Six Sigma tools for process improvement is a plus.
