Job Opportunity Medical Support Specialist
I am currently seeking a qualified medical professional for a permanent role at a leading plasma collection organization in Colorado Springs. This is a vital position where you will oversee donor safety and ensure the quality of life-saving medical products.
New hires are currently eligible for a 2000 dollar signing bonus.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for evaluating donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical assessments, and blood test reviews.
You will provide clinical oversight during the donation process, managing any adverse reactions or medical emergencies according to standard operating procedures.
You will coordinate with the center physician regarding donor suitability and safety issues.
Your role involves ensuring compliance with industry regulations and supporting health and safety programs at the facility, including employee vaccination initiatives and incident management.
Required Qualifications
Current licensure as an EMT Paramedic in the state of Colorado.
Valid CPR and AED certifications.
Completion of a recognized nursing or medical educational program.
Proficiency in basic IV therapy as required by state guidelines.
At least two years of experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from 26.90 to 36.96 dollars depending on your level of experience and specific credentials.
