Our Client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives. This role requires strong planning, cross-functional collaboration, vendor oversight, and the ability to keep projects aligned with cost, schedule, scope, and quality expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Define project scope, objectives and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Build, lead and guide project teams with clear roles and responsibilities.
- Develop comprehensive work plans covering schedules, budgets, resources, risk mitigation and communication.
- Secure approvals and ensure alignment across leadership and impacted teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project progress and drive accountability across project milestones, financials and deliverables.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Forecast and manage project cash flow while monitoring financial health and performance.
- Plan and execute scheduling, task tracking and reporting using project management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, EPM, WM).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment or technical requirements.
- Manage vendor engagement, track performance and validate deliverables.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders on a regular cadence.
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruption.
- Review work against quality standards and escalate variances as needed.
- Apply lessons learned, implement best practices, and continuously improve delivery processes.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or priorities with sponsor approval.
- Support multiple projects concurrently while balancing strategic and tactical needs.
- Act as an advocate for project objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
- Recommend resolutions to challenges and oversee corrective actions.
- Administer contracts and vendor relationships for assigned workstreams.
- Support external and regulatory interactions as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior or associate project managers.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, project controls, or construction.
Preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent project leadership credential.
- Knowledge of utility infrastructure, engineering projects, or similar environments.
- Ability to apply project management methodologies to evaluate options and deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Experience using project and financial systems such as SAP, Microsoft Project or Work Management platforms.
- Ability to follow safety standards and work with required PPE where applicable.
Salary : $115,128 - $175,080
