Role Summary
We are currently hiring for several positions across teams focused on pricing, forecasting, and reserves. In this role, you will operate as an early-career actuarial professional, applying advanced analytical techniques and domain expertise to tackle complex, open-ended assignments.
This position follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation of being onsite most weekdays. Opportunities are available across multiple office locations within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply actuarial and analytical methods to solve complex business challenges with minimal direction
- Evaluate and validate data used for trend analysis and pricing decisions
- Translate business needs into technical analysis and modeling approaches
- Run and interpret risk and catastrophe models, presenting findings clearly to stakeholders
- Use statistical and mathematical techniques to enhance analysis outputs
- Support team capability by developing and delivering training on tools and processes
- Incorporate knowledge of products, market dynamics, and stakeholder requirements into decision-making
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions
- Contribute to cross-team initiatives as a technical specialist
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Distill complex information into clear, persuasive recommendations
- Ensure appropriate risk controls and compliance standards are followed in all activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
- Approximately 4 years of experience in actuarial science or a related analytical discipline
- Near completion of a recognized actuarial credential (with only a small number of exams remaining)
- Strong understanding of actuarial, statistical, and analytical techniques used in business decision-making
- Experience working with data tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, or similar platforms
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience connected to military service, either personally or through a close family member
