Our client is seeking an innovative engineer to contribute to the next generation of semiconductor fabrication technologies. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners to investigate new materials, process methodologies, and manufacturing solutions. Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and refine semiconductor fabrication processes through experimentation, data analysis, and engineering optimization.
- Evaluate new materials, equipment capabilities, and process techniques to support future technology platforms.
- Design and execute process development plans, including parameter optimization, characterization activities, and performance assessments.
- Partner with equipment manufacturers and material suppliers to identify and deploy innovative manufacturing solutions.
- Use modelling, simulation, and experimental methods to assess technical feasibility and process performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, productivity gains, and manufacturing robustness.
- Monitor developments across the semiconductor industry and incorporate relevant innovations into development strategies.
- Contribute to long-term technology planning by supporting roadmap development and investment decisions.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience gained through research, industrial employment, internships, or academic projects related to semiconductor processing.
- Knowledge of one or more semiconductor manufacturing areas such as thin-film deposition, ion implantation, thermal processing, etch technologies, or related fabrication techniques.
Desirable Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience working with semiconductor process development, materials engineering, or characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with process control methodologies, experimental design, statistical analysis, and data-driven optimization approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical priorities while delivering high-quality results.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities in complex engineering environments.
- Interest in advancing leading-edge semiconductor technologies and contributing to future manufacturing innovations.
Compensation and Benefits

$127,000 β $180,000 annually
