Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Deliver exceptional face-to-face technical support to end users, ensuring a positive support experience.
- Maintain and support enterprise applications utilizing internal knowledge bases and support resources.
- Administer and support Active Directory environments, including user account management and access support.
- Monitor and maintain technology assets to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruption to operations.
- Take ownership of technical issues, applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills to achieve effective resolutions.
- Support enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN switching, routing, and structured cabling systems.
- Assist with fiber-optic network installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Utilize network testing tools and equipment to diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Cisco-based LAN switching and routing.
- Strong understanding of structured cabling and fiber-optic networking technologies.
- Experience with fiber installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OTDR and other network testing equipment.
- Undergraduate degree, vocational certification, or equivalent practical experience in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of desktop, deskside, or technical support experience in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, enterprise software platforms, and Active Directory.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware-related issues.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Wireless LAN (WLAN) technologies and best practices.
- Experience supporting Cisco wireless networking solutions.
- Cisco CCNA certification or higher.
- Familiarity with wireless survey and optimization tools such as Ekahau.
- Exposure to project management methodologies or related certifications.
