Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager (Projects) to join their finance team and lead high-impact initiatives focused on financial systems and process optimization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of accounting, systems, and project execution.
You will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and implementing enhancements across accounting systems that support accurate financial reporting for leadership, regulatory, and stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze financial system workflows and value streams
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into system configurations
- Execute system configuration changes, including builds and source-to-target mapping
- Configure, test, implement, and support reconciliation and financial systems
- Manage and administer updates to accounting system configurations
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of processes impacting general ledger and reconciliation systems
- Collaborate across teams to support upstream and downstream system dependencies
- Contribute to project delivery within an Agile framework

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- 2 years of experience working with financial systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms or reconciliation tools)
- Familiarity with automated reconciliation systems
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- Exposure to project tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Experience with reporting or BI tools (e.g., Tableau or similar platforms)
