Solutions Engineering Manager (AI) - CMP

A growing organization is seeking an Solutions Engineer Manager to help build AI-native systems within a modern engineering environment where AI is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. This role operates within small, high-impact delivery teams (3–5 engineers) that own end-to-end delivery for specific business domains. These teams leverage AI as the primary operating model—using automation, AI-assisted development, and intelligent workflows to deliver solutions at significantly greater speed and scale than traditional engineering teams. The position focuses on both building AI-driven development pipelines and delivering intelligent applications that transform how users interact with insurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operate AI-driven development pipelines that automate requirements, code generation, testing, security scanning, and deployment processes.
• Build AI-native applications and intelligent interfaces that improve how users interact with complex business systems.
• Architect and develop cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging modern infrastructure and serverless technologies.
• Create secure integrations between internal platforms and third-party SaaS applications.
• Own end-to-end delivery within a defined business domain, including architecture, development, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
• Ensure systems meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools, frameworks, and development practices to continuously improve delivery efficiency.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5–10 years of experience in software engineering, cloud development, or distributed systems.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools, automation workflows, or machine learning–assisted engineering practices.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, preferably AWS.
• Experience designing APIs, integrations, and scalable backend systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements within regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
  

Compensation: $145,000-165,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
