Soni is partnering with a well-established luxury retail company on a senior accountant search. The Senior Accountant will take ownership of the full month-end close and core accounting functions, including cash flow, general ledger, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a “roll up your sleeves” environment and wants to build a strong foundation with the opportunity to grow into leadership over time.

Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Manage general ledger activity and prepare financial reports
- Oversee cash flow and support AP/AR processes
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, inventory)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting requirements
- Maintain accuracy across ERP systems
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger
- Exposure to AP/AR and full-cycle accounting
- ERP experience required (A2000 a plus)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution environments
- Exposure to inventory accounting
- Process improvement mindset
