Senior Accountant

Soni is partnered with a growing healthcare organization who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role will support financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations while helping ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to process improvements and financial insights that support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
• Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with external audits and provide supporting documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Communicate financial results and insights to internal stakeholders
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or CPA track
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
• Experience supporting audits or process improvements
  
  
  

Compensation: $90,000-$120,0000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
